Lois Buckett Holidays offers the best price in the market for our fully managed properties as we are the local managing agent. We set and manage the pricing on our website as well as other portals where you see our properties advertised. You will always get the best rate by booking direct with us. This can be done either through our website or giving us a call 02 6687 4399.
A payment of 50% of the total booking cost is required for confirmation immediately upon making the reservation. The final payment will be due 30 days prior to the arrival date. If your booking is during our peak period (E.g. – Easter or Christmas holidays) then final payment is due 60 days prior to the arrival.
All payments are to be made by Visa, MasterCard, Eftpos, and/or bank transfer.
We do not accept AMEX cards.
All credit card transactions will incur a merchant fee.
We are continually reviewing our COVID policy to ensure that we are taking into account any developments associated with COVID-19.
In the case of 48 hours prior of the arrival date, you are unable to travel due to government mandated restrictions and border closures, we can offer a change of dates for your booking. If this does not suit and you need to cancel the booking, a full refund, less any commissions paid to online booking agents will be processed also less the non-refundable booking fee of $70. If a booking is cancelled within 48 hours of the arrival date or in the case of a no show or after check-in the full tariff is forfeited and is non-refundable. Dates changes are not permitted within 48 hours of the arrival date.
Within 24 hours prior to your arrival date we will send an email and SMS to your email address and mobile number that you have supplied with the access code to the key lockbox. Keys and lockbox codes will not be made available until full payment has been received and the terms and conditions along with the pre-authorisation form/bond have been completed and submitted.
Where properties have no lockbox key safes, you will be provided with instructions as to how to collect the keys prior to arrival.
Yes, all linen is provided. This includes all bedding, one bath towel for each guest, a bathmat and hand towel for each bathroom.
Should your booking go over 14 days there will be an additional charge for a mid-stay clean and linen change over.
A pre-authorisation of $500 or $1500 will be held against your credit card one day prior to check-in. If a bond claim exceeds the bond held, the guest agrees that any outstanding balances are to be paid directly to Lois Buckett Holidays within 1 week of notification including any associated recovery fees.
Please note the bond/pre-authorisation is held for up to 10 business days at a time.
We understand some of our guests haven’t paid bonds while travelling previously however unlike hotels, our properties are individually owned, large and valuable assets. We do not have managers living on site to check properties upon vacating, and therefore need to cover the property and owners for damages. Funds will not be held, they are held by your associated bank and automatically released as long as there are no issues during your stay.
Check-out is strictly by 9:30am, unless other arrangements have been made directly with our office in advance. This is to avoid inconveniencing cleaners and incoming guests following your stay. If you would like to check whether a late checkout is available, please contact our office at least 1-2 working days prior to check-out (not available during peak season). We will accommodate your request whenever possible, however, late check-out fees may apply.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate last minute requests as cleaners are scheduled.
Our housekeeping team will be ready to provide a full clean after your departure. No need to strip the beds, though we simply ask that you do a few things before you head home to assist our team.
Leave the home neat and tidy.
Clean the BBQ if used. Please note if left dirty Housekeepers will charge an additional $100.
Place any wet towels in the bath.
Put back all furniture where you found it if you have moved anything (indoor & outdoor).
Wash, dry and put away dishes.
Remove any perishable food and rubbish from the home, and place into the council bins provided.
